Please contact our office at 352-331-0090 with any questions specific to your care.
Are your providers accepting new patients?
Yes.
Does your office see both pediatric and adult patients?
Yes, our doctors treat patients of all ages.
What types of allergy testing does your office perform?
We perform testing for inhalant (environmental) and food allergies. We do not perform testing for medications, stinging/biting insects, metals, chemicals, etc.
What type of allergy treatment does your office offer?
Our physicians can advise you on a wide variety of treatments including medications, environmental control strategies, and inhalant (environmental) allergy desensitization. Our office has offered sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) since 2007 for desensitization. We do not perform food desensitization.
Does your office see “same day” patients?
We always do our best to accommodate requests for “same day” evaluations, typically with an urgent referral from a primary care provider, urgent care, or emergency room. As long as permitted by a patient’s insurance plan, an individual can request a same day appointment. These are typically only available if another patient has canceled.
Does your office see “walk in” patients?
No.
Can I complete paperwork prior to my visit?
Yes, and we encourage you to do so. Please print the appropriate adult or pediatric intake questionnaire, available at the following link and bring the completed paperwork with you to your visit. Please do not submit information via our patient portal as this does not always transfer correctly.
Even if you have already completed your paperwork, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time as there are additional documents to be completed which are not available online. If you are unable to complete your intake paperwork ahead of time, please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
How do I determine the cost of my visit?
Given the wide array of insurance plans currently available, our staff cannot always give a definitive answer. It is the patient’s responsibility to understand the costs associated with their care, and we encourage patients to contact their insurance provider prior to their visit to fully understand any costs beyond co-pays, including in-office procedures.
Does your office see “self-pay” patients?
We do see “self-pay” patients. The full cost of the visit is due at the time of service. We do not arrange payment plans for “self-pay” patients.
Does your office see patients with traveler’s insurance, student insurance, etc.?
We do see patients with these and other plans with which we are not contracted. This is determined on a case by case basis. Please contact our office at 352-331-0090 to discuss specifics of your insurance plan with one of our billing staff. In these cases, the full cost of the visit is due at the time of service and the patient is entirely responsible for submitting costs to their insurance plan afterwards for possible reimbursement.
Can I be seen for hearing testing alone?
To be seen by one of our audiologists for hearing testing without an evaluation by one of our physicians, a referral from your primary care physician is required. This referral must be received by our office before we are able to schedule hearing testing. In turn, if you wish to see one of our physicians in conjunction with hearing testing, the need for a referral is determined by your individual insurance plan.
